MPH goes to Bakersfield

My team and I volunteered to be the cattle crew at Kern County Riders Ranch Versatility on Sunday May 4th. My tiny 4 year old, Tiana, did a nice quiet job of settling the herd and turning back for the cutters. She showed off her cute little turns. My bridle horse, Shug, got some action again. She’s been semi retired for the last decade, but she sure loves cows and showing.

One of my clients, Neva, has been bringing her mare, Breeze, to lessons for the last six months. Breeze has gone from being a green snaffle horse to handling well in the bridle. On Sunday, they earned their highest cow scores ever, and won the division for the day. I am very proud of this team. Neva has worked hard and she goes the extra mile for her horses!

This is her ranch riding run. I didn't get video of the other runs because I was on the cattle crew.
