Shows 2&3 April 2026

Updated: Apr 30

Neva, Caty, and I showed at KCRRV Show #2

I won the Open highpoint, and am leading in the series with Jolene.

Caty won the Amateur high point and is leading in the series.

Neva won the Amateur Select high point and is leading in the series.

KCRRV Show #3

Jolene is off right now, so I brought Tiana. This is Tiana’s first real show. She has never showed on cattle, or down the fence. She won high point of the day. This is a big deal to me because this little hot rod has taken two years to slow down and listen to me in the reining. AND we were in a smooth snaffle. Huge win for horsemanship. She tried her heart out DTF, and we got a 70. We’ve only practiced bits of DTF at home. She was not intimidated at all. I knew I could count on her because she is super bold. She is tiny and mighty. Her thought was “I can finally be myself!"

Caty and Sophie had a fabulous day also, and won high point amateur.

It was a special blessing to see Roger and Cynthia’s new ranch. I am so happy for them and grateful that they shared with us. We had maximum fun, and are looking forward to the next show.

Neva missed this show because her daughter got married last weekend, but she will be at the rest of the shows. Congratulations to Neva and her family.

Thank you to Linda Snapp and the Kern County Riders for putting on the ranch versatility show series. We appreciate you!!
