Neva, Caty, and I showed at KCRRV Show #2 I won the Open highpoint, and am leading in the series with Jolene. Caty won the Amateur high point and is leading in the series. Neva won the Amateur Select high point and is leading in the series. KCRRV Show #3 Jolene is off right now, so I brought Tiana. This is Tiana’s first real show. She has never showed on cattle, or down the fence. She won high point of the day. This is a big deal to me because this little hot rod has taken two years to slow...

Neva, Caty, and I got the rust off last Sunday at our first ranch horse show. AJ took video. He gets his boot off next Tuesday and will be able to get back riding. Caty won the amateur. I still don’t have all the scores for Neva’s and my classes. Thank you to Linda Snapp and the Kern County Riders for putting on the ranch versatility show series. We appreciate you!! Working fresh cows is the ideal situation. Unfortunately, that ideal situation is hard to come by. We work on all the skills that we use in the show pen~using our dull cows.
